Aliona is a skilled soft furnishings artisan based in Northern Ireland, creating bespoke cushions, Roman blinds, curtains, bed throws, and table runners. Originally from Ukraine, she ran her own workroom before relocating to the UK in 2022. Since then, Aliona has worked for over 30 residential and commercial projects across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, working closely with local interior designers and fitters to bring her clients’ visions to life with precision and style.

Part of the team

Since the day he was born, my son Gleb has been part of my workroom, sharing in the spirit and energy of our costume and design work. After the war in Ukraine began, we moved to Northern Ireland, where Gleb started school and I began working for a local company. After gaining over three years of experience in window dressings and soft furnishings, I was inspired to return to self-employment.

Although our lives changed dramatically, it has always been rewarding to connect with local people and help make their homes more beautiful. Gleb continues to be part of this entrepreneurial journey and has always been a wonderful support along the way.
